(WASHINGTON) -- A new study has found yet another potential health benefit from taking a daily dose of aspirin.

Researchers at Stanford University found that women who took aspirin appeared to cut their risk of melanoma by more than 20 percent.

Because aspirin also acts as a blood thinner, experts have previously warned that a daily dose could lead to bleeding ulcers and even bleeding in the brain.
